We couldn't be happier to now have our second product range officially launched!
We worked incredibly hard developing 'The Hemp Collection' to complement our coffee scrub range. Collaborating with an organic co-operative farm in the Oxfordshire countryside, we moved on from coffee and this time have breathed new life into unloved, unwanted hemp husks, a by-product of the hemp seed manufacture. We have repurposed the hemp to create an at-home spa skincare experience!
The brand new hemp face mask collection is packaged in slimline vials and contains three face masks designed for different skin types. They are 100% natural, cruelty-free, vegan-friendly and certified by the Soil Association and COSMOS organic standards.
So why are hemp husks a great natural beauty ingredient? Relatively known as a superfood, hemp is a holistic ingredient used for a variety of purposes including fuel, protein, fibre and medicine. The hemp husks act as a gentle exfoliator to lightly buff away dead skin cells and cleanse your skin for a glowing complexion.
This week we launched our new range alongside our 'For The Love Of Scrub' products at our very own press event in the lovely Bourne & Hollingsworth Buildings!
What made the location even more special was the fact that Bourne and Hollingsworth are one of the restaurants from which we collect coffee for use in our scrubs. This demonstrated our partnerships with London coffee shops and our story from bean to scrub really nicely! It summed up the Optiat philosophy well!
The event was a breakfast drop in, which seemed fitting given that we were in one of London's top brunch spots! We stayed on theme with lots of coffee and even mini cupcakes based on the scents of our scrubs!
We also gave a brand introduction with a demonstration of how our masks are made and the ingredients that go into them.
The event was received really well and feedback across the board was very positive. We were over the moon to have so many people attend. These are just a few of the publications and bloggers who came along:
